November meeting.

Floods? What floods? A record attendance for our 10th anniversary meeting! Of course, our speaker Guy Hurst might just  have had something to do with it. Many thanks to Guy and Anne Hurst for their heroic efforts to make it through despite bad advice from a local trying to be helpful.

Guy’s talk on hunting novae and supernovae was, as expected, fascinating. Anyone for joining the Patrol? Just get in touch with Guy.

It was good to welcome our first time visitors;  we hope you enjoyed the meeting.

Thanks are  due to Bob Mizon for his ‘Objects of the month’,  to Bill and Bud for sharing their images and to Mike Egan for his report on the Hershel ST talk by Dr Appleton.

Don’t forget to bring some goodies for our Christmas meeting!

Ron
